Blues [Live]

Rascoe is a fine folk blues musician whose first recording is literally an intimate coffeehouse recital-a spring 1987 performance at Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The retired truck driver sings Jimmy Reed evergreens, spirituals, and traditional songs in a steady, warmly relaxed voice that corresponds to his lissome guitar picking. Someone named Ken Werner sometimes helps out on harmonica. -- © Frank John Hadley 1993 --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.
