Cuttin' Loose
Editorial Reviews
<"b000000n7p5228"> From Grove Press Guide to Blues on CD
Stirred by two horns and a rhythm section, the San Francisco Bay Area club favorite lets fly with exciting guitar licks suggestive of B. B.'s and Albert King's. His well-plotted singing style, groomed band, and constricted arrangements contradict the claim of the title. Cain wrote all thirteen songs, none an eye-opener. -- © Frank John Hadley 1993 --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.
