<"b00005zdvw2999"> About the Artist
Late in the 1880's, Edden Hammons earned a reputation as one of Central West Virginia's finest fiddlers. His distinctive sound (untainted by others due to his Appalachian isolation) has influenced countless later musicians, and the Hammons name is magic among fans of the true old-time style. When you listen to this fiddling, you look straight back into 19th-century West Virginia.
