MIRROR, the debut solo album from Kevin McMahon, is an eclectic mix of pop standards, contemporary theatre music, traditional favorites and original material. With songs by such diverse composers as Harry Chapin, Grammy winner Dale Gonyea, Glenn Mehrbach, James J. Mellon, Roy Orbison, David Snyder, Stephen Sondheim and Stevie Wonder, the album spans the gamut from show music (I Remember and New Hampshire Nights ) to country (Love, Me and Crying) to classics (Downtown and Danny Boy). Each of these songs feature the expressive tenor of Kevin McMahon, who has been hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the best unknown voices. Produced and arranged by David Snyder, who also contributes piano, the CD boasts the talents of Mary Anne Steinberger (cello), Domenic Genova (bass), Vanessa Brown (percussion) and the background vocals of Scott Dreier and David Humphrey.
