Editorial Reviews Jorge Mester Mr Lieberman is the former assistant principal bass of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and is currently the Double Bass Artist in Residence at the University of Washington in Seattle. A frequent performer at many summer chamber festivals, including the Seattle Chamber Music Festival, Chamber Music Northwest, as well as the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Mr Lieberman is one of the most sought after educators and performers on the double bass. Performed on a 1597 Paolo Maggini double bass, in the Brechemin Chamber Music Hall at the University of Washington, these renditions are somewhat updated and romantic in nature, as opposed to the traditional 'Baroque' interpretations. The piano figured bass is performed by Elena Romanoff.
