The Mahler Symphonies Are Well Represented on Disc and in the Concert Hall Today. This Cycle with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Ozawa was Recorded Between 1980 and 1993 and is an All-digital Cycle. All Nine Completed Symphonies Are Included, and Like a Number of Other Conductors Ozawa Prefers to Include Just the First Movement of Symphony No.10 As Left by Mahler. Also Included Here is One of the Great Song-cycles, Kindertotenlieder, Performed by One of the Outstanding Mahler Interpreters of her Generation, Jessye Norman. She Can also Be Heard in Symphony No.3, And Other Vocal Soloists in the Symphonies Include Kiri Te Kanawa (In Symphonies Nos. Two and 4) and Marilyn Horne (In Symphony No.2).
