Often Considered the Most Beautiful French Rock from the 80's, Ici Paris were Inspired by the New York Dolls (For the Look) and the Cramps (For the Spirit). Steering Clear of the Clicheed Lyrics of the Era (Girls and Punk Spleen), They Relied on a Kitsch Imagery and Music Oscillating Between Twist and Glitter Rock. Their First Gig was Opening for Sham 69 at Le Palace in Paris and the Very Pretty Singer with the Mousey Voice Earned this Band a Lot of Fans (Including this Writer).
