Jarmon & Carter, the stars of the songwriter scene here in Corpus Christi, TX, have released an incredible Americana CD.
Album Description
Americana roots music with shades of folk, rock, new age, blues, country, Cajun. In the finest tradition of the Texas singer/songwriter, Bobby Carter and Fred Jarmon draw upon styles ranging from Rio Grande Siesta, to an East Texas Bayou Crawfish Boil, to a Trans-Pecos campfire under the western stars, to the modern urban sounds of the Texas metropolis. In Chaos From Tejas!, their first collaborative effort, their songwriting skills rise to the top, sharing a variety of moods, memories, and maladjustments of the modern world. Although based in the traditional roots of folk and blues, Jarmon & Carter apply a modern edge to create something all their own and definitely Texan. Combining acoustic instruments such as guitars, accordions, and dobros with lyrical vocals and percussion, Jarmon & Carter have found a way to keep your mind moving and your toes tapping!
