Editorial Reviews Born some 41 years ago, David Clark grew up in Macon, Georgia, with an appreciation for craftsmanship, kinfolk, soul food, and Sundays. He left the city (population 150,000) about eight years ago and put down roots in the rural cotton country near Cochran, Georgia (population 3,000). Clark began writing letters to city-friends about life in his adopted town. These friends encouraged him to record the stories, especially since he had a natural... Guided by his Father's wisdom and enlightened by his Mama's Alzheimer's disease, David digs into families, faith, flags, football and nearly everything else. You can't help but nod your head and know exactly what he means. Joined by Cochran gospel trio Cross Ties on his original song, "Golden Threads," David lets the music speak with passion and honesty as well. Thanks to the keen ear and steady hand of veteran engineer Tad Bush, these tales and tunes weave into one unforgettable CD collection. Just how moving is it? Paul Breeden, whose art has graced the pages of "National Geographic" and "Smithsonian Magazine," created the cover image after hearing only rough mixes! Frank Hamrick's powerful black and white photography inside the CD booklet complements the collaboration beautifully. Reserve "Myth America" for your audio collection today.
