About the Artist
Bill Connet, singer and songwriter, is going solo! Bill has been singing and playing guitar around Iowa community events, churches, and peace events for over 20 years. Now, with the release his own CD, he is performing his own songs on multiple instruments, as well as covers of traditional folk songs. Bill graduated from Harvard in the tumultuous days of the early 1970s. He was a founding member of a popular folk band at Harvard, Granfalloon, in the Boston/Cambridge area, playing venerable folk institutions such as Club Passim (the old Club 47) and the Nameless Coffeehouse. They still have great chops! voiced producer Joe Koelling. Bill is also a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and spent 9 years in campus ministry, with much of his work with students and families centered around music. His current playlist is very accessible to many audiences, with a deep undercurrent of spiritual renewal and healing. For Bill, music is one of the best ways to connect with people about the most important experiences of our lives. In The Words to the Song, he wrote:
