Forty years in the conception, a year and a half in the making, "JERICHO ROAD" is a dream come true. I was 15 years old when I first started to write songs and record them on my parent's RCA two-track (early stereo) reel-to-reel tape recorder at my home in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Album Description
"JERICHO ROAD" is the debut solo CD album release by journeyman acoustic guitar performer Arthur Webster, on his own WEBTONE RECORDS label. The self-produced CD of 13 original songs features Arthur on acoustic guitar, vocals, harmonica and bass. Rick "Udu" Morin supplies inspired percussion on all tracks and Paul "Big" Johnson plays some silky slide acoustic guitar on 3 cuts. The songs' lyrics are straight-to-the-point thematically, easy to understand and are performed with alacrity in a folk and blues style that is easy on the ears.
