Editorial Reviews "Me and My Imagination" takes off with the listener "hand in hand and side by side...we'll book a magic carpet ride...me and my imagination are leaving today.." Adventures span the depths of the sea: ("we'll share lunch with a whale or two, they better like bean sprouts & tofu, with a little bit of seaweed sprinkled through...!" it's an imagination smorgasbord! In "No Mo' Winter Blues", a young person tries to convince the geese not to head south for winter: ("if I could only see a goose in shoeshoes, or a family of geese wearing cross-country skis") Top goose adds his two bits, & eventually the girl learns "acceptance": ("bye guys, see ya next spring, I'll save my crackers and everything...I hope ya have a real good flight, be careful when you fly at night....make sure you get lots of zzzzzs, and don't forget about me, please.."). Jazz piano, vocals, bass and trumpet create just the right ambience.. In the storytelling song "Turtle Talk", a turtle is found in a meadow going 'round and 'round with his head inside his shell. Down swoops wise old owl who politely informs turtle, "if you don't use your head, you'll never get anywhere, you'll miss out on lots of good things to do and see...if you don't use your head, you're gonna get STUCK instead of living life and being free.." Turtle gets the message and takes it out into the world, where it becomes an instant mantra about safety and common sense, sung by little turtle boys and girls everywhere. There's plenty more to be explored on the "Adventures of Cindy Lou" cd! Check it out!

Album Description
Finally! A children's music recording that even adults can listen to endlessly without going crazy...The "Adventures of Cindy Lou" cd is a ticket to the world of the imagination through sound and movement. Original themes inspire young minds, spur creativity, and bring joy and unity to the hearts of all. The "Spirit Song", celebrates oneness and the beauty that surrounds us, and honors the earth, sky, birds, trees, stars, bees, the child, sun, a song, and especially great love ("radiating down from above"..) Movements conclude in a grand, delightful hug. Liner notes provide directions. This song debuted at the Omega Instute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York with hundreds of adults, proving its appeal to the child in every one of us, regardless of age.
