Album Description
Theodore C. Frazeur has composed primarily for the concert hall, including vocal, instrumental, dramatic and chamber music, orchestral, and band works. He composed music also for the State University of the Air, an early State University of New York (SUNY) television project, and wrote for several feature-length documentary films, including an exploration of the book Book fo the Dun Cow. Mr. Frazeur has also written ballets, an oratorio, and solo piano music. He was for many years editor for Music for Percussion. He is Professor Emeritus of the SUNY, College at Fredonia, where he was a teacher, conductor, performer, soloist, and composer. He has also performed as a chamber musician and member of five major symphony orchestras.
