Petersen Quartet

On this new CD, the Petersen Quartet and guest musicians present works by the Swiss composer Fabian Müller, who is 40 this year. Müller's works owe nothing to traditional schools of composition; he feels himself to be drawn most strongly to the ideals of musical impressionism. His chamber music for strings is distinguished by its colourfulness and rhythmic variety.
