About the Artist
Bass-baritone John Shirley-Quirk has been one of Britain's most distinguished classical singers since his operatic debut in 1961; he has also sung at the Metropolitan Opera. He is perhaps best-known for his masterful performances of concert recital repertoire from the baroque to the 20th century.
