Ferenc Farkas: Guitar Works
Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Ferenc Farkas, who died just four years ago at the age of 95, was one of the most important Hungarian musicians of the past century. Bartok and Kodaly were his references Weiner and especially Respighi his teachers. He devoted himself to vocal, symphonic and chamber music, and in his later life, music for the guitar. Nuova Era believes this is one of the major guitar releases of the year, and a well-deserved tribute to a great man.
