About the Artist
Sam Rotman received his Bachelor and Master Degrees from the Juilliard School. He has been among the winners in five international piano competitions including Laureate Winner in the Fourth International Beethoven Competition in Vienna, Austria. He has performed over 1500 concerts in 50 countries including North, Central and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, Russia and South Africa. Each year he performs over 120 concerts in fifteen countries.
Album Description
This recording features some of the most beautiful music of the Impressionistic period by the French composer, Claude Debussy. Debussy said, "By droplets of sound, I create a mood." This recording of very delicate music features some of his most famous works, including Clair de lune. Extensive notes discussing each work are also included.
