About the Artist
Sam Rotman received his Bachelor and Master Degrees from the Juilliard School. He has been among the winners in five international piano competitions including Laureate Winner in the Fourth International Beethoven Competition in Vienna, Austria. He has performed over 1500 concerts in 50 countries including North, Central and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, Russia and South Africa. Each year he performs over 120 concerts in fifteen countries.

This recording spans the history of the piano from the classical period including Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert, the romantic period including Chopin, the impressionistic period including Debussy and the contemporary period and the full development of the piano with Rachmaninoff.
