Album Description
British composer George Benjamin first came to public prominence in 1980 when his large orchestral work Ringed by the Flat Horizon was performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Mark Elder at the BBC Proms. A subsequent, smaller work, At First Light, has become a repertoire work for ensembles all around the world.
