...this is a fantastic release... The performances are faultless... Do search out this recording -- it is outstanding.

The Clarinet Magazine, September 2005
John Marco’s and Gary Hammond’s contributions are certain and well thought out. The duo works extremely well together.

Album Description
In this recording we have performances of three of Brahms' most highly regarded chamber works. All three were insprired by the artistry of Richard Muhlfeld, the foremost German clarinetist of his day. These late works show Brahms' style at its most mature. Classical forms are used with flexibility and economy to convey a great breadth and depth of feeling. The three artists who perform here have worked together for years and have received critical acclaim in the U.S. and abroad.
