Album Description
Step aside Prokofiev, theres a new wolf in town! The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra presents its premiere recording, "Boyz in the Wood and other Fables" aimed at audiences of all ages. Composer Grant Cooper leads the thirty one piece orchestra through these spirited new versions of classic childrens stories. The title selection, "Boyz in the Wood", casts Little Red Riding Hood as a coloratura soprano, sung by Deborah Montgomery. The Wolf, performed by baritone Steven Stull, is a master of many styles, from his opening Wolfs Rap, through a snappy dixieland Step Right Up, to his convincing impersonation of Grandma.
