Album Description
Matthew Hinsley sings and plays guitar on this album simultaneously. Educated as a singer and guitarist at the Interlochen Arts Adademy, Oberlin Conservatory, and University of Texas at Austin, Hinsley releases one of the few albums available of self-accompanied song with classical guitar. Additionally this album contains an extremely rare recording of the complete Vogelweide, Opus 186 of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, a monumental work by a great 20th century composer for guitar and voice. Hinsley sings in four languages on the recording.
