Album Description
Recorded on June 16, 2001, at Richardson Auditorium on the Princeton University campus, this album is a live recording of the final New Jersey concert by The American Boychoir under the leadership of James Litton. Litton, one the world's foremost authorities on boychoirs and children's choirs, retired in August, 2001, after an illustrious sixteen-year tenure as Music Director of The American Boychoir.

The CD includes The American Boychoir, The Resident Training Choir of The American Boychoir, and a 106-voice alumni choir that returned to New Jersey for this moving farewell performance.

Featured among diverse periods and styles is the East Coast premiere of "Songs Eternity" by contemporary American composer Stephen Paulus. This work was co-commissioned by The American Boychoir and the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus (Illinois).
