I Never Saw Another Butterfly; Songs of the Twentieth Century
Editorial Reviews
San Francisco Examiner
"This is an excellently designed collection of reasonably contemporary works that display the chorus at its best."
Album Description
The San Francisco Girls Chorus presents a musical tribute to the children who were victims of the Holocaust during World War II. This provacative choral work is based on poetry written by children who were interned in the ghetto of Terezin on their tragic journey to Auschwitz from 1941-1945. Many of the pieces are a cappella. Pianist Dwight Okamura accompanies the remainder.
