Boasting a full 17-inch viewable image size (as much as many 19-inch CRTs), the 17s delivers a 1,280 x 1,024 resolution and 0.264 mm dot pitch, which combine with a 450:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 of brightness to deliver a sharp, accurate image that is easy to see in almost any environment.
Horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 140 degrees provide a respectable range of visual clarity and permit easy placement on your desk. A fast 16 ms response time ensures that motion graphics and video are reproduced without interruption. Stereo 2-watt speakers are also built in to the display, providing convenient stand-alone audio output for multimedia applications.
The 17s accepts analog VGA signals via a 15-pin mini D-sub port and is plug-and-play compatible, so setup is quick and easy.
