Fully automated Plug-and-Play installation under Windows 95 and 98 allows the operating system to instantly identify the monitor, minimizing setup time. On-screen display and automatic recall of new settings permit users to easily adjust image quality, size and position. The TekBright 510V is Energy Star compliant, and incorporates the Video Electronics Standards Association's (VESA) Display Power Management System (DPMS) protocol, adhering to the strictest environmental standards for safety and power management. DPMS is used to shut down power to components during periods of inactivity, greatly reducing energy consumption.
