Mitsubishi has targeted the needs of professional users with the Diamond Scan 90e. This 19-inch monitor is suitable for advanced business, multimedia, publishing or other applications that require quality images and a full-sized workspace. The Diamond Scan 90e is Mitsubishi's first 19-inch monitor. It has an 18-inch viewable area and supports a 1600x1200 maximum resolution. It provides flicker-free viewing at all resolutions with an 85Hz refresh rate at 1280x1024. At the heart of the Diamond Scan 90e is the flat square CRT with Invar shadow mask. These features combined with a very fine .25mm dot pitch provide bright sharp images and colors. The anti-static, anti-reflective faceplate coating is easy on the eyes and improves visibility by reducing reflected ambient light and cutting down on static dust buildup. The onscreen display and front-panel buttons let viewers customize more than 14 screen properties, including brightness, contrast and pincushioning. The Diamond Color Calibration System lets users adjust and store three sets of onscreen colors to match color samples such as hard copy or Pantone. The Diamond Scan 90e is compatible with IBM, UNIX, Macintosh and PowerMacintosh, Windows 95 and Windows 98. It supports high-resolution third-party graphics standards. For safe and energy-efficient operation, this display meets all major emission and power management requirements including TCO '95 and Energy Star.
