The SuperScan Elite 610 joins Hitachi's family of auto-scanning color monitors. This 17-inch display has a fine 0.22-mm horizontal dot pitch on a flat, square tube. Add a black matrix and Invar shadow mask and you have 15.9 inches of beautifully sharp viewing area. You'll want to spend hours in front of this monitor because of its clear picture, so you'll appreciate the flicker-free operation at all resolutions, plus the uniform brightness and sharp focus provided by Hitachi's advanced EA/DF electron gun. The Elite 641 also protects you from harmful emission because it meets MPR-II standards for safe emission levels. A detachable tilt/swivel base lets you adjust the monitor to the best viewing angle.
