A perfect match for any IBM compatible system, the IBM G74 17-inch G-Series general purpose monitor offers several attractive improvements over its successful predecessor, the G72, including a brighter screen with better contrast, anti-glare coating, and a smaller footprint. Designed and built in response to customer input, the G74 is suitable for Windows and business applications, supporting a flicker-free 1024x768 resolution. Flat Square Tube (FST) technology reduces image distortion into the corners of the screen. A .27mm dot pitch and anti-static/anti-reflective screen coating yield a sharp, easy to view image. The digital on-screen display offers improved usability in five languages, including ten factory settings, seven user settings, and a function that allows the controls to be locked after adjustment. The G74 also includes a tilt-swivel base that can house an optional USB hub. The G74 is plug and play compatible for ease of setup and operation under Windows. It has a universal power supply for configuration flexibility, and power management functions comply with Energy Star requirements.
