Toshiba offers Compact Router TR-600 family, the affordable solution that combines the flexibility of ethernet with the speed of ISDN for SOHO market. Built in the routers the 4-port Ethernet allows you to set up your small office or home office LAN with no additional equipment required. MDI and MDIX ports provide a simple connection to external hubs. These routers support ISDN (2B+D) with built-in NT-1 "U" interface allowing up to 128 Kbps throughput using Multilink PPP. Temporary switching to bonded ISDN transmission allows maximum efficiency of high-speed data lines while keeping phone charges to a minimum.DHCP dynamically automates TCP/IP addressing, simplifying administration by reducing the number of TCP/IP addresses a site may require, allowing you to take advantage of lower Internet service rates. The TR-600 routers provide automatic translation of network code names into IP addresses. Just one dynamic global IP address is needed to connect to the Internet. The TR-600 routers convert private IP addresses to the global IP address. Standard protocols for network management are built into the router. Integrated management can be handled simultaneously with the network management system. You can use any standard browser application to configure your TR-600 model, no special setup program needed. The TR-600 product are equipped with a Security Function with operation governed by the PPP and ISDN reception control.
