The D-Link DI-300W is a single port 10/100Mb Dual Speed ISDN Router. It provides the perfect Internet access and branch office solution. The DI-300MW is squarely targeted at small and medium businesses and home office users. Simple and quick to install, but with all the power of more expensive routers, it provides the necessary advanced technology and functions for multi-user ISDN Internet access and small branch office or home office connection to the corporate WAN. The integrated support for Network Address Translator (NAT) and DHCP allows the DI-300W to share a single ISDN Internet Account IP address among a network's users, eliminating the expense of multiple ISP accounts. As a fully functional and affordable ISDN router, it can also be used to cost-effectively connect branch and home offices to a corporate TCP/IP-based network. It allows the home or branch office user to take advantage of the speed and availability of ISDN to improve productivity and the quality of their remote access. A single Dual Speed Ethernet port automatically connects to the LAN at the highest supported speed. The WAN ISDN U interface supports such advanced features as Connect-on-Demand with protocol spoofing, Bandwidth-on-Demand with BACP/BAP, dual simultaneous location connection (1 ISDN channel per location), and ISDN leased-line support. With dual ISDN channel support, uncompressed data speeds of 128 Kbps and compressed data speeds up to 768 Kbps can be expected. THE DI-300W's features concentrate on easy of use, Internet/WAN security and the cost-effective use of ISDN services. Local and remote Telnet allow simple setup and troubleshooting. PAP/CHAP/MS CHAP authentication protocols, a built in firewall, Proxy ARP, RADIUS, and RIP-2 support all combine to ensure a secure wide area connection. Fi/fn LZS (STAC) compression, BACP/BAP, Connect-on-Demand, and IP spoofing minimize your connection time to save on ISDN toll charges.
