The Perle P2600 is one of the industry's most cost-effective and flexible central site routers. With simultaneous connections for up to 128 DLCIs (Frame Relay Data-link Connection Identifiers) or 14 remote offices connected using modular WAN interfaces, the P2600 handles the pressure and traffic of a large network with ease.The P2600 base chassis is supplied with optional dual power supplies, which provide fault tolerance and redundancy, automatically switching should a fault occur in one unit. The P2600 supports up to 7 ISDN BRI modules or 14 leased line WAN modules (or a mixture of BRI, Frame Relay and leased line modules). Standard features include IP & IPX routing, protocol spoofing, Stac LZS data compression, NetSAFE firewall, SNMP, Telnet, Connection Management, 10BaseT, 10Base2 and AUI LAN interfaces.
