COMPEX's C-Kit 811WL is an 11Mbps Wireless LAN starter kit bundled with everything you need to begin your own wireless segment. It contains two units of WavePort WL11 (11Mbps PCMCIA Wireless LAN Card), one unit of PCMCIA/PCI converter and SoftBridge software access point. You may now connect your notebook computer to your wired network without the use of any network cable. Simply install a unit of WavePort WL11 (with the use of PCMCIA/PCI converter) and SoftBridge on a designated networked computer, and turn this computer into a Bridge between your wired and wireless segment. All your wireless clients can now access to your wired segment as if they are in the same segment.
