GigaFast's WF741-UIC is a wireless LAN mini USB 1.1 adapter designed to comply with the IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN standard (2.4 GHz/DSSS). Measuring just 3.5 inches long by 1.1 inches wide, its small size makes it easy to carry in a pocket or purse, and it's perfect for use with any PC/Windows laptop or desktop computer (Windows 98SE or higher). It supports Windows OS plug-and-play installation and USB hot swap, letting you plug it in or remove it without rebooting your computer.
The adapter gives you high-speed data transfers at up to 11 Mbps. Its 64- and 128-bit WEP data encryption ensures your data is safe. Automatic fallback (11/5.5/2/1 Mbps) heightens data security and reliability, and the adapter supports peer-to-peer communication among any wireless users while requiring no access point.
