This Hawking NK340W Compact Wireless Access Point and Wireless USB Adapter combo is designed to help you start your wireless network without having to open up your PC. The products in the NK340W (WA300 and WU250) are compliant with the IEEE 802.11b standard and can work with a multi-vendor Wireless LAN platform. The Hawking NK340W Wireless Combo delivers network speeds up to 11Mbps, five times faster than previous wireless LAN products. Using dynamic rate shifting to create a reliable connection, each Access Point supports up to 32 simultaneous users at a distance of up to 1000ft (300m) for outdoor use and 328ft(100m) for indoor use. It also features Wires Equivalent Privacy compliant data encryption using 64/128-bit encryption keys, MAC Address Control and user authentication to ensure a secure network connection.
