ShAir Office is a modular wireless resource sharing solution for greatly extending network capabilities in workgroup, enterprise, home office, and campus environments. Whether serving as Internet access gateway, router, firewall, wireless hub (for up to 253 client nodes), print server, and remote access server, ShAir Office functions seamlessly in whatever its role.Coworkers, students, or family members can all share Internet access through ShAir Office, which acts as a router for Internet access through a multitude of connection options, including fiber, Ethernet, DSL, ISDN, or dial-up. ShAir Office provides wireless access to the network for up to 253 users. Users are added simply by adding client connections either via the ShAir Office USB Client or the ShAir Office PCMCIA Client. Via the ShAir Office serial port, a modem connection allows users to dial-in and connect to the network and perform all of the functions available to them as if connected locally, including email, Internet browsing, printing, and file access.
