The 3Com HomeConnect Home Network Phoneline adapter lets you create a home or home office network quickly and easily over your existing household phone wiring. The included Microsoft HomeClick Network Software makes it easy see and manage your PCs, devices, and Internet access, without requiring technical knowledge of networking. Plug the adapter into your computer's PCI slot and use the included telephone cable to hook up your PC to a phone jack-you've just added a network connection. Networked users can share a single Internet connection to surf Web sites, send e-mail, and download software simultaneously. With a mouse click, you can print from any PC on the network or transfer files between PCs. A games sampler CD is incladed in the package to take advantage of 10 Mbps transmission speeds, for faster and more realistic multiple player gaming. Play each other room-to-room, or if you've got a modem (28.8 Kbps minimum), try multi-player gaming over Internet. In addition to HomeClick software, every adapter comes with installation and Internet sharing software and easy-to-follow documentation-so you'll be connected to the network and the Internet fast.
