SST Expandable Subsystems provide an easy, manageable and cost-effective way to attach up to 128 serial devices to one slot in your server. SST Expandable Host Controllers are available in 64 and 128-port versions. For local or clustered connections, mix and match any combination of port modules (RS-232 or RS-422) with either DB-25 or RJ-45 connectors. You can also daisy-chain Equinox SST Modem Pools or Port Modules to your server via a Host Controller. If you want to connect a cluster of serial devices up to 3,500 feet from the server, use the Multiplexer Interface Module (MIM) and the Cluster Multiplexer Module (CMX).
