Legacy Cat 6 connecting hardware has not met interoperability requirements. Therefore, in order to test these Cat 6 installations, you must connect to the patch panel jacks (sockets) or the telecommunications wall outlet with a plug that matches the electrical design of these jacks.Rely on Fluke Networks' manufacturer-specific Link Interface Adapters for the solution. The plug at the end of each of these 'special' adapters matches the electrical performance of the jacks.
