The Fluke Networks Voltage Detector with Probe Cap is an easy-to-use handheld probe designed to help protect field technicians against accidental electrical shock in the outside plant environment. It detects ac and dc voltages through a long-life carbide tip. The user simply touches the tip to the area of concern, and pulls the magnetic trigger. A green LED indicates the area is free of hazardous voltage. If the red LED flashes, hazardous voltage is present.
