The PN605C from Hawking is a RJ-45 and BNC Auto-Sensing PC card for connecting to 10Base-T or 10Base-2 networks. The PN605C supports all major network operating systems, is NE2000 compatible and "hot swappable". Due to the fact that the PC card is PCMCIA Type II compliant, it is guaranteed to be compatible with your PC card compliant system. The Auto-Sensing BNC and RJ-45 Media Coupler allows for easy installation in 10Base-T or 10Base-2 operating environments and it increases portability across several different media types. This credit card-sized PC card/Ethernet adapter is designed for notebook/laptop computers that support PCMCIA (Personal Computer Memory Card International Association) Type II slots. The PN605C comes with setup utilities for easy plug-n-play installation and 2 diagnostic LEDs for monitoring activity, traffic and 100Mbps operations. Low power consumption preserves the life of your battery and full duplex support facilitates transmission speeds up to 20Mbps and 200Mbps for the fastest networking possible. For PCMCIA controller independence, the PN605C comes with a Client driver, which can communicate with Card Information Structure (CIS) to ensure compatibility, with a variety of PC host controllers.
