The JetLan P2000 is a sleek, compact print server that attaches to any parallel printer, connecting directly to the Centronics parallel port on the printer. It acts like any 10BaseT Ethernet network device, with a RJ45 port, which is connected directly to the Ethernet network hub with any twisted pair network cable. The JetLan P2000 also has HTTP support for Internet compatibility, enabling the print server to be configured by using any web browser software. This eliminates any operating system compatibility issues. The HTTP support now permits users to setup and administer this server on any system running TCP/IP with a browser.This Print Server is designed for Alps MD1000, MD1300 and MD5000 printers.
