CNet's PowerSWITCH CNSH-800 is a powerful desktop sized eight port Fast Ethernet Switching Hub. The CNSH-800 comes with eight 100BASE-TX ports. Each port is equipped with a built in Auto-Negotiation function. Simply attach network devices operating from 10Mbps (10BASE-T) up to 200Mbps (Full -Duplex 100BASE-TX) and these ports will automatically sense and set the proper line speed. For maximum hardware flexibility each port can also be set to Forced 100Mbps Full-Duplex mode. This combination provides networks with for utmost hardware flexibility. The CNSH-800-R model includes a rackmount kit for standard rackmount placement. The CNSH-800 is designed for networks needing lots of bandwidth with minimum hassle. For quick access, all ports and status LEDs are located on the front panel. Like virtually all CNet products, the CNSH-800 is Plug and Play, no configuration is needed. This PowerSWITCH model fully complies with IEEE 802.3u and 802.3 standards for Fast Ethernet and Ethernet operation.
