With CTGOs hot line of auto server switches, you can use a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse to control up to sixteen CPUs. Save yourself the expense of buying and maintaining multiple sets of I/O and video equipment, as well as saving critical space in your network operation center. Standard off-the-shelf cables are all you need to complete the connections, eliminating the need for expensive custom cables that inflate the solution cost. Each device is a dependable solution that emulates the keyboard and mouse connections back to the CPU. This allows for seamless boot-up, even while the switch is connecting the keyboard and mouse to another PC. This critical feature, not present in manual switches, prevents CPU lock-up. Should a reboot be necessary on a CPU not currently connected to the keyboard/mouse via the switch, the emulation allows seamless reboot following an unplanned shutdown. Both the eight and sixteen port versions come with an advanced on-screen status display, which also lets you name the individual users.
