The SuperStack 3 Switch 4924 is ideally suited in these configurations by offering 24 fixed 10/100/1000 ports, in a high performance, compact and affordable form factor. The Switch 4924 can also support an optional Switch 4900 expansion module, allowing customers to deploy additional Gigabit media such as 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX and long haul Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-LH70) in the same integrated platform. The Switch 4924 supports advanced Layer 2 switching features such as CoS/QoS, VLANs, multicast filtering and RMON as well as Layer 3 switching through support for IP unicast routing and hardware based Access Lists.
