Featuring 16 dual-speed RJ-45 ports, the Asante FS4016P gives users a 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet capability that can eliminate bottlenecks in server connections or can link 10 Mbps workgroups to a 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet backbone. For workstations, the FS4016P supports full-duplex operation on each port, effectively doubling the total throughput on individual links. Auto negotiation of 10/100 speed on every port makes for a smooth integration of 10 MB and 100 MB networks. The FS4016P also comes with one 10/100 uplink port.
The plug-and-play design of the FS4016P makes setup and connection to Ethernet PCs, Macintoshes, workstations (including Unix), and servers easy. The FS4016P supports all popular network operating systems.
