TraderSwitch is a two-channel switch that enables the operation of one Sun workstation and one PC from a single Sun keyboard and Sun mouse. TraderSwitch is designed for individuals who work in tight places and need to access and operate both a Sun and PC, but also need to see the video from each computer continuously. TraderSwitch is built with Raritan's unique emulation technology, which provides a dedicated processor for each channel. In this way the Sun and Pc each "sees" its own keyboard and mouse all the time for flawless switching and operation. Switching is quick and easy by touching the front panel button, or by pressing a designated Sun keyboard key. TraderSwitch is a two-channel keyboard/mouse switch designed as a time and space saving device specifically for individuals who must operate a Sun workstation and a PC in the same work area. Installation is as easy as connecting the two Raritan provided 6.5-foot cables from TraderSwitch to the Sun and PC keyboard/mouse ports. Then plug a Sun keyboard and mouse into TraderSwitch to operate. Leave the monitors connected to both computers for continuous video displays for both computers. Select the Sun or PC by simply pressing the button marked "Sun" or "PC" on the front panel; or merely touch the "Sun" or "PC" designated key on the Sun keyboard. The sleek, space-saving, 1.75" high desktop TraderSwitch chassis is ideal where space is at a premium. To save even more space, remove the TraderSwitch unit from the desktop and switch using the keyboard.
