The MIL-SM801 family of Ethernet switches offers eight 10/100BaseTX ports and one fiber 100BaseFX port all in a compact desktop design. The fiber port provides four connectors and five different ordering options; and available fiber connectors in multi-mode are SC, ST, MT-RJ and VF-45 and in single mode SC.Fiber future proofs the network with multimode and single mode not only to be used in risers but also horizontal accommodating high transmission rates over long distances handing all current or envisioned applications.
