GigaFast's EtherEngine 1600-S is a 16-port 10/100Mbps non-blocking switching hub featuring an Expansion slot with port-based VLAN and Trunking capability. The EE1600-S is ranked as a LAN products in GigaFast's pro-series, which means is not only be served as SOHO group, but also the work-group applications. It can auto-detect connecting devices for 10/100Mbps in half/full duplex modes. Every port can independently connect to another port to reduce network collision and speed up data transfer. There is an extension module port at the rear panel. This module port can be used to install an additional one or two 100Base-FX SC/ST port. There is a console port at rear panel for VLAN and Trunking configuration. Comprehensive LEDs including (Full duplex/Collision) indicator LED and 100M indicator LED for easy monitoring of network status. The console management is managed by a Windows OS management tool that can be easily installed and configured for any network.
