Perfect for rack-mounted servers, these switches enable network administrators and information system managers to control, manage or observe as many as 64 servers running multiple operating systems Nall from a single access point.Available in 2, 4 and 8-port models, the switch box connector kits can connect multiple 4 and 8-port switch boxes together for a maximum of 64 ports. The switches use an On-Screen Display (OSD) interface with intuitive menus and other features that enable server selection and control from the console command line. The console mouse can interact with the graphical user interface of the selected computer. Two 8-port models offer dual console capabilities, providing the flexibility to control console switches from more than one location or by more than one user. Control of groups of servers can be switched between administrators.
